Research interests

My interests are in the study of the narrative metaphor as applied to therapy, and with bridging the systemic approach with attachment theory and narrative practice.  I am also interested in the development of qualitative methodology, and its applications in studying psychotherapy process and outcome. Much of my writing has been dedicated to developing narrative tools as aids in client evaluation and therapeutic interventions. In the past, my interests have included the applications of family therapy to chronic patients with HIV/AIDS, and the evolving relationship patterns of the Greek family.

I am a member of the Hellenic Psychological Society, the Association of Greek Psychologists, the British Psychological Society (BPS) and the American Psychological Association (APA). I am also member of the European Family Therapy Association (EFTA), the Hellenic Society of Systemic Therapy (Helasyth), and the Association of Family Therapy and Systemic Practice (AFT), UK.
